2024 Annual Conference

2024 Joint MNAFPM-IFSMA Conference 
November 13-15, 2024

The 2024 annual conference will be a joint conference with the Minnesota Association of Floodplain Managers, to be held November 13-15 in Austin MN.

Conference attendees consist of federal, state and local government officials, planners, engineers, consultants, researchers, educators, watershed organizations, realtors, appraisers, and insurance agents. The conference agenda will focus on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, floodplain management guidance, recovery programs, flood control projects, case studies, and mapping. 

Hotel: The conference will be held at the 
DoubleTree by Hilton – Austin, MN


A block of 75 rooms has been reserved at a rate of of $145 plus tax. Many alternative accommodations are within close proximity. The Cobblestone Hotel is recommended.
